This palm was rediscover in Singapore back in 2011. According to the author of the publication below, Nee Soon Swamp Forest is probably the only place where this palm can be found in Singapore. However, the pictures above were not taken in Nee Soon but in Clementi. If my identification of the palm is correct, Clementi will be the second locality where this palm exists.
